Basic Services

We provide the following services for defined benefit pension plans each year:

• - Actuarial valuation and report
• - Annual filing (Form 5500)
• - PBGC Premium Payment filing
• - Funding Notice
• - Benefit statements for participants
• - Preparation of lists of plan participants on request
• - Completion of benefit calculations and preparation of benefit election forms for participants who are retiring
• - Provision of information requested by your auditors in connection with their audit of the Plan
• - Consultation with you, as required, regarding any aspect of plan administration
• - Benefit illustrations for participants on request
• - Consultation with legal counsel as required

We prepare actuarial valuations within about 2 months of receipt of final data for the plan. Our reports are clear and concise and contain all information required by auditors for completion of financial statements. They fully disclose actuarial methods and assumptions, and the financial position of the plan. We provide all information required by your auditors promptly so that the annual audit and filing can be completed quickly and efficiently each year.

Benefit calculations and election forms for retiring participants, as well as benefit illustrations for other participants, are generally provided by 10 days after we receive information required for the calculation.

We provide the following services for defined contribution pension plans each year:

• - Determination of eligibility for participation and determination of contribution amounts
• - Allocation of contributions to investment funds according to elections of participants on request
• - Administration required for benefit distributions including provision of election forms and requests for distributions
• - Preparation of statements for participants
• - Qualification testing of contributions
• - Completion of Form 5500 and Summary Annual Report
• - Preparation of lists of plan participants on request
• - Provide information requested by the client's auditors in connection with their audit of the Plan

Consulting Services

We provide consultation regarding plan design and plan administration. We prepare studies showing 5-year projections of contribution requirements on request. These projections can be based on current or proposed plan provisions. For defined benefit plans our projections are also based on various alternative assumptions regarding future assest yield and interest rates.

We can also provide the following administrative services for all retirement plans if they are desired:

• - Mailing of election forms to participants
• - Review of completed election forms and preparation of requests for commencement of retirement income
• - Mailing of annual benefit statements and Summary Annual Reports as well as any other statements or notices
• - Providing help directly to participants

We can provide help directly to your participants. We take participant calls at any time during business hours. Participants usually have questions regarding the determination of their benefits and proper completion of election forms. They also frequently ask questions about statements and notices that they receive. Retirees often call regarding changes in address or withholding elections.

We provide consultation regarding plan design and funding. We keep our clients informed of new legislation or regulations and make sure that their plans are amended as required.
